It’s a critical role in a fast-paced ecommerce environment, working with a highly passionate team of digital content specialists, where success in the role is as much about attention to detail as it is about refining processes and nurturing the team.

To be the successful applicant, you will:

  • Have several years’ experience in a fast-paced ecommerce environment
  • Be able to demonstrate successfully managing and developing a team
  • Be able to give examples from previous roles of reviewing and improving processes that have resulted in improvements in efficiency, communication and quality of work

  • Have a meticulous eye for detail, ensuring our website & content offers the best customer experience possible
  • Be commercially savvy in order to manage deadlines and help prioritise team workload if necessary
  • Have a good working knowledge of data and insight tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console and SEM Rush
  • Be able to demonstrate an understanding of the importance of content marketing and SEO and the role they play for both direct product sales and development of an ecommerce brand
  • Have a passion for music, whether a guitarist, music producer or drum fanatic, and an understanding of the music industry

Ideally, you will also:

  • Have experience working within the music industry for an online music retailer or brand
  • Have an understanding of the wider ecommerce marketing mix, with experience working with digital marketing teams in ecommerce environments
  • Have an understanding and up to date knowledge of SEO strategy and implementation in an ecommerce environment

Reporting to the Head of Ecommerce & Digital Marketing, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing a consumer-focused SEO-led content strategy
  • Ensuring an exemplary standard of content on the website in order to deliver an outstanding customer experience
  • Planning and managing the execution of key site-wide campaigns such as Black Friday & Sale
  • Ensuring Andertons employs SEO best practice in our approach to content at all times, making sure the content team understands why and not just what to do to achieve this
  • Supporting the content team with prioritisation of workload when necessary, coaching and mentoring the team to become increasingly commercially-focused in their approach to their roles
  • Working with the broader ecommerce and technical teams to drive continual improvement of the website performance
