Recently voted as The World’s Number One Music Store, this is a great and rare opportunity for a motivated, driven and hungry graphics professional to join Andertons’ growing, in-house web team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting Andertons’ day-to-day marketing activity by producing high-quality graphic design material and visual assets across all areas of the business. The role is heavily focused, but also comes with flexibility for the right individual to bring their own creative flair to the table. Responsibilities will often vary from web merchandising to social media graphics and more.

As a part of the web content team and with overarching support from our Creative Consultant, you will plancreate and deliver highly-relevant graphics that will be seen by hundreds of thousands of passionate musicians. At a base level, you should have the essential skills required to deliver on the below core responsibilities. The role is suited to an individual seeking personal and professional development opportunities and willing to be challenged.

Core responsibilities

  • Responsible for creating graphics requests in order to support the web content team and other business stakeholders
  • Proactively manage incoming graphics requirements to ensure the efficient delivery of requests
  • Develop your graphical design and MI industry knowledge

Required skills & qualities

  • An overarching interest in graphics and typography
  • A base level of knowledge across the Adobe Suite of products, specifically Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Competent using computer-based software such as WordPress
  • A great graphical eye and appreciation for the graphical qualities of the Andertons brand
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the products that Andertons sells and what makes musicians tick
  • A meticulously organised and communicative team player
  • Great spelling and grammar
  • A self-starter with the ability to find creative solutions
  • Creative flair, originality and a strong visual sense

Highly Desirable

  • An active interest in music and the products that we sell
  • Bursting with your own ideas to bring to the table – a natural ‘ideas person’
  • Experience creating graphics in a B2C environment
  • An understanding of web-image optimisation & SEO

  • Contract Type: Full Time
  • Working Hours: 37.5 hours Monday to Friday
  • Salary: £17,000
