Warehouse Goods In Manager

We are currently recruiting  for an experienced  Goods In Manager with a positive, ‘can do’ attitude to join the team of a fast paced and rapidly growing e-commerce retail warehouse operation.

Predominantly tasked with the full day-to-day running and supervising of all inbound warehouse activities and the Goods In team, you will be responsible for ensuring all deliveries are receipted into our WMS system and put away accurately and efficiently – whilst adhering to all safe systems of work and meeting the demands of the business.

You will also need to build good working relationships with our Purchasing and Sales teams to ensure our customer orders are able to be fulfilled to the published time requirements.  You will understand and implement procedures to ensure any receipt issues are handled promptly and professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overall management of daily inbound workload, ensuring optimum productivity and quality of work is maintained
• Responsible for the Goods In and Put Away team members. Leading by example and inspiring the team to successfully complete all required tasks in the accordance with deadlines
• Planning and creating space for inbound deliveries
• Booking and scheduling inbound supplier deliveries
• Setting high standards for the work environment and ensuring these standards are maintained
• Confident to take ownership and resolve operational problems within own area or by collaborating with other departments to resolve pressure points

Candidate Profile:

Required:

• Previous Warehouse supervisory and/or management experience within a fast-paced, manual environment, ideally within a Business to Consumer warehouse.
• Excellent People management skills.
• Superb communication skills, and highly motivated.
• Confidence to challenge existing practices and support & enable change for the better.

Desirable:

• Full Clean Driving Licence
• Counterbalance Forklift Licence
• Fork Lift and or Pivot-Steer Licence
