First Line Quality Control Guitar Technician

Are you passionate about guitars, with a keen eye for detail and a desire to work with some of the world’s most prestigious music brands?  Based at our Guildford warehouse, we are recruiting a First Line Quality Control Guitar Technician to join our Services team,  where your expertise and attention to detail will ensure our customers receive only the highest quality instruments.

As a first-line QC Technician, you will be responsible for thoroughly inspecting, testing, and setting up a wide range of guitars, both electric and acoustic, either as part of the inbound QC process or completing our comprehensive pre-delivery inspection checks for our customer orders.  You will also be required to test amplifiers, pedals, and other related products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing thorough Quality Control inspections and functional checks of inbound Guitars, identifying and resolving any defects where and when required.
• Setting up Electric, Acoustic, and Bass Guitars for optimum playability and ensuring they meet and adhere to set standards.
• Product Testing as required for relevant outbound customer orders

• Ability to work efficiently to tight deadlines
• A keen passion for all things guitar and good product knowledge.
• Suitable guitar-playing ability.
• Working knowledge of guitar maintenance and repair with the drive to further develop these skills
