By submitting an application to work at Andertons Music Co., you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions and privacy policy. Declaration of Applicant

In accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998, the information provided in your application will be used in the recruitment and selection process and may be disclosed to all those who need to see it. It will also form the basis of the confidential personnel record of the successful candidate. In the case of unsuccessful candidates the Application Form will be destroyed after five months.

By submitting an application, you hereby declare that to the best of your knowledge, all the information given by you is correct, and that you possess all the qualifications you have listed on your form. You understand that any false statements or deliberate omissions could result in your dismissal if appointed.

We will keep your information safe, never misuse it and never pass it on to other companies.

Important: For your protection, we’re also registered under the Data Protection Act 1998 and have given all appropriate notifications to the Information Commissioner. Data is ‘kept for no longer than is absolutely necessary’ in accordance with the data protection act. In the case of job applications this is defined as 5 months (this is because a rejected applicant has 3 months plus extensions to make a discrimination claim. Were that to happen we must have the application records available). Please note although we do not keep the details of applications beyond 5 months we will keep applicant contact details on file so we are able to contact you should another relevant position become available. If you do not wish us to contact you about other opportunities that we feel may be relevant then please let us know. Please be clear though – under no circumstances will we pass your contact details or any details of your application to any third party – your application is treated with complete confidentiality.

This data is held in accordance with our data protection registration notification. When you submit an application on this website, we consider the information you enter as private. The information is kept on a secure server protected from outside parties. We offer the opportunity to opt-out of marketing activities such as our email newsletters and postal mailings, and will not pass your data on to third-party companies.
